MV: Romans 2:13

Last week, we learnt that our love for God is TRULY made complete when we obey His word. Our verse for this week is also on obedience, but in the words of Paul to the church in Rome:

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

Romans 2:13 NIV

What category of people was Paul speaking to in this verse? Why did he make this statement?

Change in our lives is made manifest by God’s grace through the Holy Spirit (Romans 2:29 NLT). So what makes us right before God? Is it obedience of the law or there is a better way?

Have a blessed week!
